Its ED Dashboard product replaces the traditional emergency department “white board” with a rich electronic display of real-time status on all patients under the department’s care. As Forerun was completing its first successful deployment of the ED Dashboard, the company brought in J2 to perform code analysis and troubleshooting on the various Ensemble interfaces that integrate the ED Dashboard to the hospital’s ADT, laboratory, radiology, and pharmaceutical information systems. J2 is now leading Forerun’s Ensemble integration efforts at two more sites, scheduled to go live in the summer of 2008.
